From the Far East to the East End, from Croatia to Claridges, Rory’s crowd-commanding sets encompass everything from indie-dance, hip-hop, funk & Soul to old-skool house. Rory plays London haunts like Cargo and Fabric as well as regular European dates. Likewise, over the years, he’s manned the decks at exclusive parties, dropping playlists for the A-lists for everyone from James Corden to Nelson Mandela. Rory’s also handled events for Barclays, Mercedes Benz, and Chelsea FC. “It’s about seeing the party going off — my job satisfaction comes from a full dance-floor. Getting feedback as you see everyone enjoying themselves: that’s what motivates me.”

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a secure online form where you can add and save all your music requests. From there, your DJ will personally get in touch to walk through your playlist, fine-tune the details, and answer any questions you have. He played all the tracks I requested (lots of old school garage!), and figured out exactly what it is we wanted to dance too. He timed everything perfectly, and managed to get everyone dancing from my 80 year old Grandma to my 12 year old son. Rory honestly was the cherry on the cake for our wedding, and the amount of compliments we have had about the music at our wedding shows that he what a wicked DJ he is. Honestly Rory exceeded all expectations, and gave me some of the best moments of my entire wedding, dancing to So Solid Crew with my new husband and my children is one of my highlights of my wedding day. We just wanted to share some feedback about DJ Rory, who played at our wedding in Kew Gardens on 09.08.19. Not only did we find his DJing skills to be massively impressive, we have heard nothing but compliments from our friends and family. Even yesterday, a friend mentioned how incredible the DJ was- the music really was one of the highlights of our entire day! It's rare that the dance floor is packed from beginning to end, but Rory's choice of music was on point- he played the right things at the right time and pitched it just right, so that the oldies could have a boogie, but by the end of the night, the dance floor had transformed into a trendy urban nightclub for us and our friends. We also found Rory to be very attentive to us as the bride and groom. He very professionally turned down cheesey requests from some of our guests, and honoured anything we asked for. He even played some random Soca music that he didn't have (he had to find it) and this made for a fabulous Trinidadian tradition of 'Brown Girl in the Ring' (picture attached). It made our wedding and guests are still talking about it! We are so pleased we chose Gigz Management for our special day, and would highly recommend DJ Rory who helped to make our wedding reception one of the best nights of our lives.”
